
Campus Halloween Events 2008

October 23rd
Crimson Haunting is sponsored by University Programs. More information may be obtained, when they update their website, at http://www.up.ua.edu/
Starting at 8pm, participants will meet in the Ferguson Game Room. Derek Bartlett (a Ghost Hunter), will provide a brief introduction describing the location and history of rumored haunted locations on campus. An approximate 1 hour walking tour around campus, to seek paranormal activity, will follow the presentation. For more information you can contact Chad Frichtl at 348-7525. The tour is free and they suggest you wear comfortable shoes to walk in and warm clothes.
October 28th
Sorority Row Trick-or-Treat is sponsored by the Panhellenic Association and will be held between the hours of 5 – 7 p.m. on Sorority Row. Children will be able to trick-or-treat at all of the houses.
Haunted Halls - 5 - 7 p.m. - South Campus communities of Harris Hall, Parker-Adams Hall, and Parham East Hall invite faculty, staff, and their children to Trick or Treat in our Haunted Halls. After visiting those frights, continue your night with fun and games at the Tutwiler Hall Fall Festival.
Halloween Festival is sponsored by the Student Alumni Association. The festivities will take place between 5:00 – 8:00 pm in front of Alumni Hall. They will have a large screen playing Monsters Inc. and will have games and activities for the kids.
October 30th
The Halloween Extravaganza will take place from 6:30 to 8pm and is sponsored by the Student Athlete Advisory Board. You are invited to bring your family to share in a night of fun and excitement for kids to dress up and play games with their favorite Alabama athletes! Please bring a canned good with you to support the West Alabama Food Bank. The event will be held at the Indoor Football Facility at the Athletic Complex (located behind the Hank Crisp Indoor Tennis Facility). If it rains, we will move to the lobby of the coliseum. Candy will be given out as kids leave the indoor facility. For more information, contact Megan or Jill or call 348-7952.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is sponsored by University Programs. The movie will be shown on a large screen on the Quad at 7 p.m. Due to content, this movie is not recommended for children. More information may be obtained, when they update their website, at http://www.up.ua.edu/
